Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions of students at Bina Insani University, Bekasi, on the use of English in Islamic banking services, and to examine their readiness for careers in this sector. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a survey and interview approach, the study involved 18 students currently interning at Islamic banks. The results showed that the majority of students considered English proficiency an important factor for their careers in Islamic banking, although there were challenges such as a lack of opportunities to practice in a professional context and limited English training focused on Islamic banking terminology. The study recommends enhancing English training based on industry needs and fostering closer collaboration between higher education institutions and the banking sector
